Brian has earned everything that has come his way in the NFL. Undrafted out of college, this former Walter Payton National Player of the Year award winner first made his mark with Barcelona in NFL Europe. He finished third in that league in receptions in 1999 and was named Offensive Player of the Week after catching seven passes for 205 yards and three TDs against Amsterdam. It was there that Finneran first caught the eye of Atlanta scouts, and he joined the team after a brief stint with the Eagles. Through the Falcons' first seven games of 2000, Brian had seven receptions before being slowed by a back injury.
