Wayne comes to the Pilots from the Detroit Tigers. The outfielder signed his first contract with the Washington Senators! Twice during his minor league career, Wayne played for his circuit's All-Star squads.
Wayne led the International League in runs scored in 1967.

Mike spent the first six seasons of his career in organized baseball playing for the Philadelphia Phillies farm clubs. Purchased by the Tigers' chain in 1966, Mike, who had been a shortstop till then, was converted to the mount. He hit .304 at Magic Valley.

The Pilots grabbed one of the A.L.'s top long-ball hitters when they snared Don in the expansion draft. The lefty hitting first sacker began his career in 1956. He batted .330 at Davenport in '58 while driving in 97 runs.
