A good catcher is a must for a ballclub and the Pilots were quick to draft Larry in '68. #2 man behind Andy Etchebarren with Baltimore, Larry will see lots of duty with Seattle in 1969.
Who is it?
This experienced righthander has had several winning years in the majors and may be a big man for the Pilots. As a Yankee rookie in 1961, Roland once pitched back to back shutouts.
Who is it?
The Pilots grabbed one of the A.L.'s top long-ball hitters when they snared Don in the expansion draft. The lefty hitting first sacker began his career in 1956. He batted .330 at Davenport in '58 while driving in 97 runs.
