With 7 different clubs in 6 years in the minors. Came to the majors in 1940 with the St. Louis Browns. Stayed with them until June 1942. Traded at that time to the Philadelphia Athletics. Traded to Detroit Tigers end of 1943.

Cecil Fielder

Cecil returned from a stint in Japan in 1990 to become an awe-inspiring slugger for the Tigers. Over his first six seasons back, he averaged 36 homers and led the AL in RBI three times. He's one of only two players in Club lore to clout 50 bombs in a campaign.
