Vicente Romo

It looked for awhile that the Indians had lost the services of Vicente for good. The Los Angeles Dodgers drafted this Mexican hurler from Portland, the Cleveland farm club, in 1967. He was re-acquired by the Tribe in '68.

Credit Vicente with 9 saves last season.

Once Tony proves he can handle major league pitching, he'll have a steady job with the Indians. The youngster led the Northern League and International League in fielding in 1960 and 1962. Martinez was optioned by Indians to Portland (P.C.L.) in April '64.
