Ken was injured for a portion of 1972, he returned to action in the later part of the season and was one of Mets' hottest hitters in September. Ken hit very well on the road, his 3-run Homer at Houston helped Mets to one of their greatest come-from-behind victories.

Ken was NY-Penn Roojie of the Year in 1965.

This 25 year old righthander came up to the Mets last summer and was the victim of little batting support from his mates. Jim pitched consistently strong ball for New York as his low earned run average testifies. The hurler hails from Lost Nation, lowa.

Tylor, who was a reliever his final two Mets seasons at the U. of Arizona, has proven he has the chops to start. The towering righty averaged 94.6 mph on his fastball after entering the Mets rotation last June. He fanned 10 over seven innings September 10.
