The sinkerball relief specialist was selected from the New York Mets during the October expansion draft. As a rookie in 1967, Don was credited with 3 saves and posted 4 victories in relief. He has excellent control and his pitches are tough to hit into the air.

One of the game's most aggressive players, Maury will add plenty of excitement to Montreal with his clutch-hitting and base-stealing. Holds big league record with 104 stolen bases in 1962!

Drafted from the Chicago Cubs, Bill will see plenty of action with the Expos both as a starter and reliever. He earned his shot in the majors after winning five of seven games at Tacoma. As a Cub rookie, he was a fine strikeout pitcher fanning 52 batters in 63 innings.

Rusty Staub

Named the Rookie of the Year in the Carolina League in 1962, Rusty has now solidly established himself as one of the NL's top hitters. In 1967, Rusty set a Houston batting mark as he paced his club with a strong .333 batting average. Traded to Montreal on 1/22/69.

In 1967, Rusty led the N.L. with 44 doubles.
