Bert Niehoff
John A. Niehoff, third baseman of the Phila. National League Club, was born at Denver, Col., in 1885. His first opening in the professional field came with the Pueblo Club, of the Western League, in 1907. From that team he moved to Des Moines, of the same league, from which club the Pittsburgh Nationals secured him at the close of 1910. After a year with Pittsburgh he was returnd to Indianapolis, from which club Cincinnati selected him in 1913.
