Andy Pafko

Pounded out a .304 average in 1950. Knocked 36 homers second high in League. Slammed 24 doubles, 8 triples. Drove in 92 runs. A top-notch fielder with a great throwing arm. Though an outfielder all his career, Andy moved in to third base when the Cubs needed help at the hot corner a couple seasons ago. Did his usual superior job. First with Cubs in 1944. On 3 all-star teams. In 1 World Series.
