Discovery Plaza is the 1000 square foot forecourt leading to the Card Cyber Museum - a daily exhibition of 60 sports cards waiting to be discovered beneath your feet! Inspired by the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, where celebrities leave their handprints in concrete, our Plaza features digital frames embedded in the ground - beneath bulletproof glass. Each day brings a new rotation of cards showcasing the incredible sets found within the museum. Originally inspired by Piet Mondrian's neoplasticism style with bold primary colors, Discovery Plaza invites you to uncover the stories behind the cards.

Phil was acquired from the New York Yankees for Ruben Amaro on December 1, 1965. With the Yanks in 1962, he was their top pinch-hitter with a .467 batting average. Phil is one of the game's best utility players. He's capable of playing both the infield and the outfield. Phil led the Carolina League in batting in 1960. In 1961, Phil was M.V.P. in the Texas League.

Has potential as great power-hitting outfielder. Last season batted only .273 but cracked out 140 hits, 233 total bases, 24 doubles and 17 home runs. Drove in 76 runs. This placed him 15th in National league slugging. Previously played with Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Good fly chaser with excellent throwing arm.

Lou was wounded in action while in Army by shell explosion. It forces him to wear a heavy brace on his left leg. Was a star at Presbyterian College, both on mound and at first base, and played good ball in Army. Last season, his first in majors, saw him win 14 games and lose 10. He struck out 127 batters and was one of the mainstays of the good Athletic pitching staff.

Joe punched out six batters for every man he walked during his five outings for the Twins in 2021. On September 8, he twirled seven scoreless, one-hit innings against Cleveland for his initial victory.

Minnie has been in the American League two full seasons, has led in stolen bases both years. In 1952 he pilfered 22 sacks, 31 the preceding year. He can really go get 'em in the outfield, and his bat is dangerous. As a rookie, he began the season with Cleveland, then was traded, right after the start of the year, to Chicago. He batted .326, had 14 triples, high for the league, and 34 doubles.

Gspurning is a native of Austria who played four professional seasons in Greece, then made a grand entrance to MLS in 2012. He led the league with a 0.73 goals-against average - the third-best mark in circuit history. In 21 games, he delivered eight shutouts.

After a three-year hiatus, Mario Le Magnifique returned to the NHL in 2000-01. Along with Jaromir Jagr and Joe Sakic, he was a finalist for the Hart Trophy as the league MVP.

He was so small when he first put on the gloves as a Cincinnati youth, it was hard to find opponents his age. One of the finest all around athletes in Baseball, "Chuck" was a champ in Basketball before turning to the diamond sport. "Chuck" is one of the fastest men in the League.

Just to show you how important a good kicker is to a club, Pete was responsible for 25% of the Buffalo team's scoring in 1964. The sure-toed Bill led Buffalo in total points. Pete kicked 45 extra points in 46 attempts and was 19 for 28 in field goal attempts. Pete holds A.F.L. mark with a 57 yard field goal.
