Discovery Plaza is the 1000 square foot forecourt leading to the Card Cyber Museum - a daily exhibition of 60 sports cards waiting to be discovered beneath your feet! Inspired by the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, where celebrities leave their handprints in concrete, our Plaza features digital frames embedded in the ground - beneath bulletproof glass. Each day brings a new rotation of cards showcasing the incredible sets found within the museum. Originally inspired by Piet Mondrian's neoplasticism style with bold primary colors, Discovery Plaza invites you to uncover the stories behind the cards.

Andy is a fighting, sturdy catcher, who doesn't let small things like injuries keep him from donning the pads of his profession. He was in 108 games for the Reds in 1952, batting .256. He had 14 home runs. Andy began in baseball in 1940. He spent parts of 1943 and 1944 with the Phils, returning to stick in the majors in 1945. Traded to the Reds in December 1951.

In the 1970s, Saturday Night Live featured Chico Escuela, a fictional Dominican Republic star who liked to say, "Baseball been very, very good to me." Duarte is a real-life Dominican athlete who'd probably say basketball has been very, very good to him. He's living the life as an NBA player with the Kings.

The strong-armed passer was acquired from San Diego where he helped the Chargers to divisional titles in 1960 and 1961. Jack has been selected to five consecutive A.F.L. All-Star teams. Jack scored a touchdown rushing in the Championship Game in '64.

Always one to make the most of his touches, Spears saved his best for last in his second pro season. The workmanlike RB cracked 100 yards from scrimmage for the first time on the year in Tennessee's Week 17 of 2024 matchup with Jacksonville. He posted 103 yards on the day, 95 of which came via the rush.

A solid .282 hitter in the first half of 2021, Harper soared to .338 with a 1.188 OPS following the MLB All-Star Game. The second-time NL MVP finished as the lone player in either circuit to amass at least 35 home runs, 100 runs and 100 walks.

"Jake" Powell is outfield insurance for the World Champion New York Yankees. Powell, who has been in professional baseball since 1930, did not see see much action with the Yankees last year. He appeared in only 31 games. Powell has always been a dangerous hitter, as he well proved in the 1936 World Series when he hammered Giant pitchers for 10 hits, drove in 5 runs and boasted an average of .45...

Tommy spent 5 seasons in minor leagues as property of New York Yankees, but his 7 seasons in majors have been with Boston Braves. His .325 average last season was third highest in National League, and his good work in field helped Braves to their first pennant since 1914. Best year was 1945, when he batted .352, hit 47 doubles, 6 triples, 28 homers and batted in 117 runs.
