Discovery Plaza is the 1000 square foot forecourt leading to the Card Cyber Museum - a daily exhibition of 60 sports cards waiting to be discovered beneath your feet! Inspired by the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, where celebrities leave their handprints in concrete, our Plaza features digital frames embedded in the ground - beneath bulletproof glass. Each day brings a new rotation of cards showcasing the incredible sets found within the museum. Originally inspired by Piet Mondrian's neoplasticism style with bold primary colors, Discovery Plaza invites you to uncover the stories behind the cards.

A fine defensive player, Dave led the Texas League in fielding and assists in 1965. He is quick, extremely agile behind the plate and owns one of the most accurate throwing arms in the Houston organization. Dave has also seen action at the "hot corner."

Daniel, the 1996 NHL Rookie of the Year, replaced Alexei Yashin as captain of the Senators in 1999. In 2000-01, he recorded the 200th assist and 300th point of his career.

Paul spent 7 years in the minors and 3 years in Military Service, before he got his first Big League trial with the Pirates in 1951. His best minor league years were 1946 at Bristol (20 wins and 181 Strikeouts) and 1949 at Hartford (14 wins and 162 Strikeouts). His 2.47 Earned Run Average at New Orleans in '50 earned Paul his trial. In '51 he had a 1-1 mark at Indianapolis and 2-2 at New Orleans.

Don's timely hitting played a big part in Brooklyn's great year in '55. A fine fielder, he covers plenty of ground at 2nd. In the minors, he stole 63 bases in season.

When Curt graduated from high school scouts from almost every major league team were after him, but Phillies landed him by paying one of highest bonuses ever given a high school boy. Before signing with Phillies' organization he pitched two no-hitters and in one game struck out 23 batters. He broke into major league ball on closing day of 1947 season and beat Giants 3-1, giving up only 5 hits. ...

Pitched much better in 1950 than his 3-9 record would indicate. Ken was really a hard-luck hurler. In 1949, he had a 17-10 record. Tossed 5 shutouts, and had season's longest winning streak at 9 games. Voted Philadelphia's most valuable player for the year. In Ken's first start in 1951 he lost a tough contest to Boston, 2-1. But he snapped quickly back with a 2-1 victory over the N.Y. Giants.

The Reds obtained Eddie from the Phils in December of '51. He has been in pro ball since '38 when he broke in with Danville of the Bi-State League. After 4 years in the Service, he finally got his Big-league chance with the Red Sox in '46 and hit a Homer his first time up. Eddie played for the Browns in 1948-49, Baltimore in '50 and the Phils in '51. In '48 he took part in 2 Triple Plays.

The baby faced righty was one of the most sought after pitchers last year. He had won 20 games for the Brownies in 1951, losing only 12. He spent most of the season with them last year, then went to the Tigers. He was in 21 games for St. Louis and 1 for Detroit. He won 8 and lost 10. It was an off season, but Ned should bounce back strong in 1953.

1909 T206 Set cards were often glued into scrapbooks or affixed to other surfaces and, as a result, they are often found with paper loss on them from when they were removed.
