Discovery Plaza is the 1000 square foot forecourt leading to the Card Cyber Museum - a daily exhibition of 60 sports cards waiting to be discovered beneath your feet! Inspired by the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, where celebrities leave their handprints in concrete, our Plaza features digital frames embedded in the ground - beneath bulletproof glass. Each day brings a new rotation of cards showcasing the incredible sets found within the museum. Originally inspired by Piet Mondrian's neoplasticism style with bold primary colors, Discovery Plaza invites you to uncover the stories behind the cards.

Ted was picked at 2nd Base on the Rookie All-Star Team in 1952. The Red Sox signed him in April of '52 after he made a great showing at Spring Training. Ted attended Seton Hall University before signing a professional contract in '51. He split that season between Roanoke of the Piedmont League and Louisville of the American Association, playing 2nd and 3rd Base.

Taking part in 41 games in 1950, Art won 19 and lost 12. Earned run average, 3.53. After the close of the season, Art entered the Army. Began in organized baseball in 1945. Divided first three seasons between Buffalo and Detroit. During spring training in 1949, Art was in a serious automobile accident in which he sustained a fractured skull. Made a marvelous recovery, and had a good season.

"Schoolboy" Rowe came to the Detroit Tigers in 1933 after winning 19 games for the Beaumont Club the previous year. His second year with the Tigers he won the amazing total of 24 games, losing only 8, 16 of his victories coming in succession, to equal the American League record. The crafty lefty is one of baseball's best pitchers. He was in 27 games for the Dodgers in 1952, and he won 11 while losing 2 for a percentage of .846, best in the League. Preach walked 39 and struck out 83. His earned run average was a nice 3.11. He's been in baseball since 1938 with the Cardinals. After five seasons in the minors, he returned to big time with Pittsburgh.
