Discovery Plaza is the 1000 square foot forecourt leading to the Card Cyber Museum - a daily exhibition of 60 sports cards waiting to be discovered beneath your feet! Inspired by the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, where celebrities leave their handprints in concrete, our Plaza features digital frames embedded in the ground - beneath bulletproof glass. Each day brings a new rotation of cards showcasing the incredible sets found within the museum. One of only two Marlins players to belt double-digit homers in each of the past three seasons, Jesus can beat opponents with more than just the longball. He snatched away a potential game-tying, ninth-inning grand slam with a leaping catch against Seattle last June 14. On August 2, Sanchez blooped a single to left field to walk off the Phillies, 9-8.

Smacks a ball hard and far. Batted .290 for Montreal in '47. Didn't do quite that good for the Pirates last year. Did hammer out 108 hits, 69 runs batted in, and 10 resounding homers. Average for '48 was .254. Just getting started now. Should go a long way.

Heritage Flashback: The Agholor family, natives of Lagos, Nigeria, settled in Tampa when Nelson was a kid. He shared a bedroom with his two older brothers while his parents labored at working-class jobs. "I understand that everything in life you have to earn," he said. Agholor garnered All-America honors as a running back/receiver at Berkeley Prep before twice making the All-Pac-12 Team at USC.

MY BIGGEST THRILL IN BASEBALL by Bob Porterfield. Baseball is a game of many thrills, but my own came on May 5, 1953. You know how they always say a pitcher remembers his hits; well, this was the day I hit a home run, and with the bases loaded. Not only was it a thrill hitting my first homer, but there was also the added thrill of having it a grand slam. I'll never forget it.

1909 T206 Set cards have been heavily reprinted and even reprints of the more popular cards like Honus Wagner and Ty Cobb can sell for $10 or more.

Murray was excited to hit the Big Easy in 2024-25. That didn't mean he was going to take it easy. All about hard work, the guard was eager to get down to it and help the team build on its strong foundation. His ability to score, defend and provide for his teammates should be a huge boost.

Johnny is a knuckleball pitcher, and there are those who say that he had the best knuckler in the Pacific Coast League. In 1952 he had a 24-9 record with the Hollywood club, which bears out the statement. The Pirates brought him back to the majors, and the Phillies acquired him from Pittsburgh. He was previously with the Yankees as a pitcher, then became an outfielder. Now he is back as a pitcher.

Jermaine shows up in the right place at the right time. In 1996, he broke into the Majors with Atlanta, which won the NL pennant. More recently, he was traded from K.C. to Oakland in '01, and helped the A's won 48 of 62 games after his arrival make the playoffs. His Gold Glove defense and run-producing swing made him a 2000 All-Star.
