Discovery Plaza is the 1000 square foot forecourt leading to the Card Cyber Museum - a daily exhibition of 60 sports cards waiting to be discovered beneath your feet! Inspired by the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, where celebrities leave their handprints in concrete, our Plaza features digital frames embedded in the ground - beneath bulletproof glass. Each day brings a new rotation of cards showcasing the incredible sets found within the museum. Originally inspired by Piet Mondrian's neoplasticism style with bold primary colors, Discovery Plaza invites you to uncover the stories behind the cards.

Bruce Dal Canton: Bruce has won three games for the Pirates in late season appearances in 1967 and 1968. The 25 year old righthander stands 6'2" and weighs 205 pounds. Bob Robertson: Bob spent 1968 on the injured list and did not get into a ballgame. The tall first sacker has good power. He smashed 32 home runs for Gastonia in '65 & 32 more for Asheville in 1966.

A constant offensive threat, Barry is one of the steadiest defensemen around. He's no stranger to body, contact either, and still holds the Minnesota record for most penalty minutes in a season with 182 in 1969-70. Barry came up through the Boston organization, and came to the North Stars as part of a trade with the Bruins in 1969. A good defenseman, Barry's specialty is carrying the puck.

Named the Rookie of the Year in the Carolina League in 1962, Rusty has now solidly established himself as one of the NL's top hitters. In 1967, Rusty set a Houston batting mark as he paced his club with a strong .333 batting average. Traded to Montreal on 1/22/69. In 1967, Rusty led the N.L. with 44 doubles.

"Ted" split the '51 season between Roanoke of the Piedmont League and Louisville of the American Association. The Red Sox bought his contract from Louisville in April of '52 when the former Seton Hall star showed he could fit into the Red Sox infield picture by his flashy all around play during Spring Training. Pitcher Shota Imanaga was one of the shrewdest free agent signings in the 2024 offseason. He busted out of the gates with a 5-0 record and 0.83 ERA in his first nine starts and anchored a rotation that also included budding workhorse Javier Assad. That strong pitching, along with one of the most prolific offenses in the NL, had the Cubs in the hunt for their first Postseason berth since 2020.

Anderson proved his fantastic rookie season wasn't a fluke by following it up with an 11.0-sack campaign in 2024. His top performance came in Week 6 against the Patriots when he pulled down the quarterback three times on his way to finishing with eight tackles and four tackles for loss in the 41-21 win.

In 1965, Ron set a big league mark for shortstops by handling 28 chances in one day. He handled 18 chances in the opener of a double header and 10 chances in the nightcap. Bill is almost in a class by himself as a pass-catcher. He hangs onto practically everything, and he's good for at least one circus catch per game. He was sixth in that department last year, and caught one for a 77-yard TD.
