Discovery Plaza is the 1000 square foot forecourt leading to the Card Cyber Museum - a daily exhibition of 60 sports cards waiting to be discovered beneath your feet! Inspired by the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, where celebrities leave their handprints in concrete, our Plaza features digital frames embedded in the ground - beneath bulletproof glass. Each day brings a new rotation of cards showcasing the incredible sets found within the museum. Angel signed for just $100,000 out of Venezuela in 2016. He was not regarded as a top prospect, but his results in professional Baseball say otherwise. In 2021, his fastball ticked up to the mid-90s. This along with his ability to locate it on the black had him regularly missing bats. He struck out over a batter per inning for the first time. Angel's off-the-table change-up is his best pitch.

The speedy outfielder blossomed into a full fledged star last season. Matty's .342 batting average earned him the title of National League Batting Champion. His tremendous agility easily enables him to cover the spacious centerfield area in Pittsburgh. Matty also uses his great speed on the base paths. Matty has a .333 World Series batting average. In 1959, Matty led the Eastern League in assists.

Brice's stolen base total in 2023 was the highest by a Brewers rookie in 11 years. Along with 96th-percentile sprint speed of 29.5 ft/sec, Turang brought some thump, smashing four home runs of 400+ feet.

Campy was voted the National League's Most Valuable Player for the 1951 season. His batting average of .325 for 143 games was the fourth highest in the League. He racked up 164 hits. Among them were 33 home runs and 33 doubles. Runs driven in: 198. With Dodgers since '48.

"The Chief" pitched 2 no-hit, no-run games in 1951 to become the 2nd man in the history of baseball to accomplish this feat. A football star at Oklahoma A&M University, Allie came up to the majors with Cleveland in 1942. In '43, he led the American League in Strikeouts with 151. Traded to the Yanks after the '46 season, Allie had a 19-8 record in 1947, 16-7 in '48, 17-6 in '49 and 16-12 in '50....

The top Rams' scorer again last year, Les was selected for the All Pro Team. In addition to his phenomenal booting ability he's also a dependable lineman both on offense and defense. Les was one of the rare U.S. rugby players. In the army he coached the Ft. Lewis team.

Mike finished the 1972 season with the lowest Earned Run Average on the Rangers' staff. Used mainly in relief, he also had spot starts and hurled one Shutout and two Complete Games. Mike averages about seven Strikeouts every 9 innings he pitches. Mike enjoys horseback riding.

Larry had a bad back in 1953 which greatly hampered his pitching. A Jansen who is right, is a pitcher mighty hard to beat. He's a "picture pitcher," with a beautiful, easy motion, and ex- cellent control. He allows very few earned runs as his record will show. He was the winning pitcher of the final playoff game in 1951 which gave the Giants the pennant. Larry is the father of seven children.

An All-Conference selection at tight end in 1970, Bob was switched to wide receiver in 1971 but moved back to tight end last season. Made AFL All-Star Game twice.

Early in 1952 Lloyd was recalled to active service by the Marine Corps. But there was a chance that he would get in some baseball before reporting for duty. In 114 games in 1951, hitting .242. Had 5 homers, 2 triples, 23 doubles. Drove in 36 runs. A Stanford U. graduate.

I joined the St. Louis Browns on September 15, 1951, in Boston and I proceeded to belt home runs in my first two times at bat. It was an unprecedented feat, and established a major league record.

Oct. 2, 1953 was the day Carl Erskine set a new World Series record by striking out 14 Yankees. It was a good all-around year for Erskine as he won 20 games during the season for Brooklyn. On June 19, 1952 he threw a no-hitter against Chicago, permitting only one base runner. He combines a sharp curve with fine speed to baffle batters.
