Discovery Plaza is the 1000 square foot forecourt leading to the Card Cyber Museum - a daily exhibition of 60 sports cards waiting to be discovered beneath your feet! Inspired by the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, where celebrities leave their handprints in concrete, our Plaza features digital frames embedded in the ground - beneath bulletproof glass. Each day brings a new rotation of cards showcasing the incredible sets found within the museum. Originally inspired by Piet Mondrian's neoplasticism style with bold primary colors, Discovery Plaza invites you to uncover the stories behind the cards.

Tony's bound to be a favorite of the Pirate fans for two reasons. First, he's a local product... having starred in high school ball in the Smoky City. Janeth has been on each of the Houston Comets' three WNBA championship teams. In eight seasons playing in a Brazilian pro league, she was the MVP each year.

Carl is the possessor of one of the finest throwing arms. Not many runners take an extra base on him, or even try to take one. He's also a good hitter, although his 1952 average represents a slump year for him. Ray Berres has spent most of his time in the major leagues with Brooklyn and Pittsburgh. He was with the Dodgers until 1937 when he was sent. to Louisville. The Pittsburgh Pirates brought Ray back to the majors and he has been handling the majority of the backstopping for the Bucs. Berres has proven a big help to the Pirates because of his splendid defensive work and his ability to handle pitch...

"Kite" is a handy man around Shibe Park. He can play the infield and outfield. After breaking in with a .319 mark at Joplin in '47, he moved up to Quincy in '48 where he hit .313 and batted in 99 runs. Keith was with Beaumont in '49 and in '50 and made the Texas League All-Star team The A's drafted him in November of '51 from Kansas City.

Gil Garrido: Gil broke into organized ball with a bang in 1960 when he batted .362 in 128 games in the Sophomore League. The slender infielder from Panama is a righthanded batter. Tom House: Tom has appeared in just 35 ballgames in his two years in the minor leagues. Yet, the southpaw is regarded as one of the club's future stars. Tom is 5'11" and weighs 180.
