Discovery Plaza is the 1000 square foot forecourt leading to the Card Cyber Museum - a daily exhibition of 60 sports cards waiting to be discovered beneath your feet! Inspired by the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, where celebrities leave their handprints in concrete, our Plaza features digital frames embedded in the ground - beneath bulletproof glass. Each day brings a new rotation of cards showcasing the incredible sets found within the museum. Originally inspired by Piet Mondrian's neoplasticism style with bold primary colors, Discovery Plaza invites you to uncover the stories behind the cards.

Each 1916 Sporting News M101-4 card features a sepia image with the player’s name, team, position and the card number identified at the lower white border.

Walt has become a key Ranger and one of the toughest men in the NHL to knock off his feet. Fans had difficulty pronouncing his name at first, but once he became a star, they learned the right way. It's "Ka-Chook". Walt rarely misses a game due to injury, and he led the Rangers in scoring for 1969-70 and again in 1970-71. Walt is part of Rangers' "Bulldog Line".

For the Red Sox in '67, Jerry clouted an 8th inning homer to give Boston a 9-8 win, after they had earlier trailed 8-0. The Royals selected Jerry in the Expansion Draft last year.

John was signed by Nets Coach Carnesecca for his running and shooting ability. He's also a good enough rebounder to hold the Temple U. career record of 1,042. John's 1,544 career points at Temple are 2nd only to Guy Rodgers on the all-time list. John never played high school basketball.

Continuing to excel on NASCAR's road courses, Marcos Ambrose led more laps in 2010 than in his first two NSCS seasons combined - punctuated by a career-best 35 laps out front in the June race at Sonoma. His best finish through the first 26 events of the season was a third-place run at Watkins Glen.

George is a double-duty performer with the Chargers, as he is a top kicker as well as being a great defensive back. He finished third in the A.F.L. in scoring last year with 95 points. In 1962, George kicked 17 field goals in 20 attempts. This Charger has scored 258 points in his three seasons with San Diego. In college he played in the Senior, Gator and Sugar Bowls.

Raymond W. Collins, the left-handed pitcher of the Boston American League team, was born at Burlington, Vt., in 1887. He first attracted attention as a pitcher on the University of Vermont team, and was signed by the Boston Club in the summer of 1909 after several major league clubs had offered him contracts. Collins made good at once, and has been a valued member of the Red Sox ever since.

If his hitting picks up, smooth-fielding Monty is bound to stick in the majors this year. He spent 1951 shuttling between Pittsburgh and Indianapolis, where he hit .255 in 37 games. A veteran of 3 years in the Service, Monty first came up to the Pirates in 1948 after hitting .272 at Ft. Worth. Billy showed his versatility last season with fine performances at 3rd, 2nd and Shortstop. One of the fastest men in Baseball, he uses his speed to scoop up the 'sure hits' and turn them into outs. Signed by Boston for a $60,000 bonus in '53, Billy played in 47 games as a freshman and was also used as a pinch-runner. As a youngster he starred in American Legion ball.

Milwaukee had the No. 3 overall selection in the 1973 draft, so it missed out on prep lefty David Clyde (No. 1) and college catcher John Stearns (No. 2). In hindsight, the third pick wasn't too bad. Yount went on to win two MVP awards, earn a spot in the Hall of Fame and post the highest career WAR (77.4) of any No. 3 pick in history.
