The Russian town of Togliatti has delivered some superb hockey talents to the NHL, not the least of whom is Pittsburgh's chief sniper, Alexei Kovalev. Ilia, who turned heads in the Ducks' 2001 training camp and later earned a spot on the 2002 AHL All-Star squad, could be the next. Among his ambitions in '01-02 was to master English. Terry was one of the NHL's brightest breakout performers during the 2021-22 season as he sent plenty of pucks past opposing goaltenders. The winger netted his first NHL hat trick on Jan. 4, scoring twice in the first period and capping the scoring in the third frame to lead the Anaheim Ducks to a 4-1 victory over the visiting Philadelphia Flyers.
