Name that player!

A mercurial scorer who dazzles fans and teammates alike, Marc admits he got some of the best advice on maintaining career equilibrium from former Rangers teammate Pat LaFontaine, "He once told me not to let the highs get too high or the lows get too low," Savard says. One such high came on January 30, 2002, when the Calgary center registered his second career hat trick (both in a Flames jersey) to beat the league's top-rated Red Wings, 4-3.

Martin netted two goals (one in OT) on 3/5/03.

Mel has never played a game in the minor leagues. With 312 career points, he ranks among the Flyers' all-time leading scorers. Had 3 game winners, 1980-81.

Back to the Front! Flames card back du jour...

Jarome Iginla
Regarded by many as the early season choice to collect Calder hardware in the summer of 1997, Iginla got his first taste of NHL action in the 1996 playoffs, tallying two points in two games. And if a spectacular World Junior Championships experience bodes well for the future, then the 1996 tournament's best forward and All-Star may become a premier NHL winger.
