Branch first made his presence undeniable on special teams. He continued impressing the coaching staff when he earned defensive snaps and logged his first career start when Alabama took on Mississippi State on Halloween 2020. The freshman seized the opportunity, logging seven tackles and two pass deflections.

One of the smartest defenders in the game, Joe puts up a "No Trespassing" sign in the Lions' secondary. He can diagnose plays brilliantly and is rarely out of position.

Dorne won All-American honors at Michigan State for his great defensive playing. When he came to Detroit he was switched to offensive end and has been a star pass catcher ever since. His shifty running and amazing ability to fake out pass defenders makes him almost unstoppable.
