Jets Card of the Day

Verlon Biggs
Top thrill of the year came to Verlon in the 1967 AFL All-Star contest. The big defensive end snared a pass and came up with a 50-yard TD to lead the East to its first victory.

Name that player!

Coming back after a serious leg injury in 1966, Ralph solidified the Jets defense in '67 with his great ability to "read" plays.

For the fourth straight year, Larry was named all-League outside linebacker. He has showed-up the skeptics by overcoming his lack of bulk with agressiveness, agility, and fast reflexes. Larry's top thrill in pro ball was intercepting a pass and running it back for a touchdown in the 1963 A.F.L. All-Star Game.

Asked why he said the Jets got the best running class at the 2022 draft, Hall came up with the best answer. "Because I am the best running back in this class," he said. Enough said. An exciting three-down player, he made multiple catches five times in seven games and looked top-class averaging 5.8 yards per carry.
