Broncos Card of the Day

John McGeever
Another one of Denver's great pass-snatchers, John was among the leaders in that department last year. John has a quiet, pleasant disposition off the field, but is one of the hardest-hitting backs when on the field. Excellent speed and intense desire make him one of the finest defensive backs in the league.

Name that player!

No one in pro football threw more passes or gained more yardage than Frank in '60. He completed 248 of 478 for 3038 yds. He's a smart signal-caller.

Third in the league last year in pass re- ceptions, Lionel has perhaps the finest hands in football. No catch is considered impossible for this star. He has excellent leadership qualities and is highly respected both as a player and by many teammates and opponents.

When this aggressive player doesn't "blitz" the quarterback, he lays back and pilfers off their passes. Like an uncaged tiger, he swarms all over the field causing the offensive team mayhem. Goose has the distinction of playing in four consecutive All-Star games. The big fellow is anxious to plague the offensive again.
