Warriors Card of the Day

Guy Rodgers
One of the most valuable backcourt men in the league, Rodgers' speed, ball handling ability and driving, twisting shots make him an exceptional little man in a big man's game. He has been called the closest thing to Bob Cousy this side of Dick McGuire. He is at his best flashing down the court on the fast break or using his speed to rip through a defense caught napping. Was second only to Oscar Robertson as a feeder, being credited with 677 assists for an 8.9 per game average.

Name that player!

In 2014-15, Curry became the first player in Warriors history to take home MVP honors since Wilt Chamberlain grabbed the award in 1959-60. It wasn't hard to argue his case, as the Warriors sharpshooter led Golden State to the best record in the league while pacing the NBA in 3-pointers and steals.

Signed as a free agent 12/17/88... Saw extensive playing time in 57 games with the Warriors... Established career highs in all major statistical categories... Led Indiana to 1987 NCAA title... Big Ten most valuable player and consensus all-American as a senior... Member of gold medal winning 1984 U.S. Olympic Team.

Flowing for 32 points vs. Chicago, Curry filled out his stat line with six 3s, six assists and five rebounds on March 29, 2021. For most players, that's an exceptional night. For Curry, it was just average. The league's leading scorer, he averaged an eye-popping 32.0 points, 5.3 treys, 5.8 dimes and 5.5 boards for the season.
