Name that player!

The pride of Southern California, Leslie set scoring records at Inglewood's Morningside HS before banking in the buckets at nearby USC and then joining the WNBA's Sparks. In 12 seasons with the hometown franchise, the L.A. legend tallied 17.3 points and made eight All-Star appearances.



Entered the 2006 season ranked 3rd on the WNBA's all-time chart for scoring average (18.1 ppg), 5th for career points (3.521) and 5th for career rebounds (1,682). Dished out a single-season career-high 104 assists in her first year with Los Angeles.



Players had to meet at least four of seven criteria to be considered for the W25, but only one of them went 7-for-7. Ogwumike was a shoe-in as the lone member to win a major individual award win a title, rank among the top 40 in a career stat category, collect All-Star, All-Defensive and All-WNBA nods and earn a Community Assist Award.

For the second consecutive campaign, Beard locked down WNBA Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2018. The guard, who helped the Sparks top the league in points allowed (77.0) and steals (7.9), became the fifth player in league history to win the award in back-to-back seasons.
